Did sombody say magic?

This is my first time ever doing anything like this. Hope I don't screw it up, not like it could be THAT hard to do so... And heeeeeeeerrrrrrreeeeee we go. Very typical day today. Ate at Sonny's BBQ ( the nice clean one on Alafaya not that nasty one by FS that I used to work at). Watched a bunch of tv, nothing really good on. My girlfriend made me sit through one of Ellen Degeneres' stand-up things on HBO. I'm sorry...I understand her humor...but am I the only one who doesnt find it funny? Seems like everyone thinks shes hilarious but me. Not my thing i guess. And shortly after that I was forced into watching my first ever episode of Desperate Housewives. I figured I'd give it a chance seeing all the high praise it gets from everyone, and again...I think i missed the boat. I get why the female audience likes it, but to those males out there who watch that (and Sex in the City) WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? It's like all the guy's that told me i should watch the NOTEBOOK because it was good. There are just certain things in life that a man shouldnt have to sit through and they are 1) Ellen Degeneres 2) Desperate Housewives and 3) Any movie adapted from a Nicholas Sparks novel. Not for me, sorry. I just dosent connect with me. As for the rest of the day I did absolutely nothing. Yes, I know, Im a very exciting person. But with school, work, and being poor I cant really afford to do much. I hope this works as my first blog...again I am a little clueless with this. Never even kept a journal when I was younger.
